Big Bream Fishing | May 26th 2025 Ferry Meadows

This group coaching session takes place at the extremely popular Ferry Meadows which is renowned for it's Bream fishing and it's the perfect opportunity to see how we target big Bream on the feeder!

We will be demonstrating the tackle, rigs and feeding approaches throughout the day and we'll also be covering the method feeder as well as a conventional feeder approach.

Once the initial demonstrations have taken place your free to head-off back to your pegs to put everything into practice but having spoken to lots of you over the last few months you've also got the option to leave your tackle at home and simply spend the day watching and discussing these approaches.

You'll need to arrive at the venue for 8:15am and if you are going to fish you're free to bring any baits you'd like to try but we strongly recommend using a fishmeal based groundbait, worms and dead maggots but other baits like sweetcorn, pellets and wafters can be just as effective.

Please note: Ideally you'll need to be sat in the water so please make sure you have a seatbox with adjustable legs on it or a platform and waders. The country park also charges a small fee for parking in the visitor centre car park which we pay via card payment just before leaving the park.

The pegs we have reserved are the shortest walks available which are on the 'High Bank' but you will need to bring a trolley / barrow with you.
